Definitely the most frightening and difficult and heartbreaking choice in Bandersnatch. In a way, this is what made the whole story work, being forced to make this choice and all that it holds. The Netflix option was the comedy, this is the tragedy.

Following through on the Netflix metafiction aspect, this “choice” makes clear just how silly and ridiculous the game has become. Panem et circem is what comes to mind, especially with Stefan’s closing words.
